Bicycling. Witness. Fellowship.
As a ministry of First Baptist Church of Valentine, our goal is to host free cycling events that bring our community together.
Through bicycling, we seek to build relationships across generations, backgrounds, and cultures—connecting young and old, rich and poor, and people from every walk of life.
We believe bicycling is for everyone. By sharing this healthy, planet-friendly activity, we aim to strengthen our community, foster meaningful conversations, and have a lot of fun along the way.
Community Bike Shop
We will reopen for our 4th season on May 2, 2026.
Our bike shop operates on a free-will offering basis to help cover the cost of parts and repairs. We provide most basic repairs for both children’s and adult bikes.
Hours:
Saturdays, 9:00–11:30 a.m.
Appointments are also available by calling 402-250-4188.
In addition to repairs, the bike shop offers a mentoring program for kids that teaches basic bike maintenance and repair skills.
If you have used bikes and would like to donate them to the ministry, please email the church at admin@fbcvalentine.com. Anyone interested in getting a child into the mentoring program should contact pastortim@fbcvalentine.com for more details.
